Baby Liam has arrived!! He was born at 9:29PM Eastern Standard Time. He weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces and is 20 inches long. His Apgar score was 9.9. Mom and baby are doing great!!

8PM - Epidural is in, mom is feeling MUCH better! We’re at 8CM… won’t be long now!!

6PM and contractions are getting stronger. The doctor broke Steph’s water, so we’re “committed” now. Hovering around 3cm dilation, but we’re %100 effaced. More updates as things happen!

4632After some deliberation this afternoon, the decision has been made to induce labor. Liam will be coming soon!

Steph is having regular contractions. They started this morning and have continued steady all day. Mom and baby are doing fine.

We’ll be letting everyone know how things go!

We’re one step closer - The plug is out. Looks like Liam may have a November birthday!

We made some calls earlier, Stephanie began having contractions today. By this evening they were 6~9 minutes apart and lasting a couple of minutes at a time. They stopped later though, so it was probably just a “practice run”. We’ll let everyone know if things start moving again.
